Our Story
Hanswerks is a classic car restoration and lifestyle brand founded by Hans in Shanghai. Based in the Hanswerks Art Garage at Jiading Auto Expo Park, we are dedicated to reviving classic car culture in China.

We restore more than just vehicles, we restore memories, dreams and style.
It all began with a childhood dream — At age six, Hans watched his father repair a 1989 BMW E34 and quietly wished, “One day, this car will be mine.”
Years later, he found that same car and spent 218 days restoring it by hand. He named her Hannah, marking the birth of the Hanswerks brand. She went on to appear at the China International Import Expo and BMW Night.
Today, Hans has restored over 30 classic cars and built a 1,000 m² art garage,
a new landmark for car enthusiasts.
